Fast-paced and fun, this show gripped me in the very first scene and didn’t let go. Omar Sy is stellar. Season 2 just dropped on Netflix. French, with subtitles.

THE SINNER

Set in a small New York town, a tortured detective struggles to investigate a series of perplexing crimes while struggling with his own demons. Season 2 is the best, in my opinion.

If you liked Mare of Easttown, this is similar. Only better.

One of the best dramas I’ve seen. It was pure joy to have new episodes every night, until I ran out (sigh!). They’re making a new season now, which will air in 2022. Danish, with subtitles.

mad about you

I loved this little Must-See-TV Thursday night sitcom when it aired with Seinfeld and the remake is surprisingly smart, funny and refreshing. Love these two. And now, their daughter.

I just started this and it’s a joy. Not only is it funny, but (who knew?) it’s revealing, honest and inspiring.

I loved the cover of this book, so I picked it up - and totally enjoyed her authenticity.

I laughed out loud at his admittedly embarrassing moments in his life and career, including run-ins with Susan Lucci and Oprah. I’m not a Real Housewives viewer, but I loved reading about his escapades in entertainment.
